On Saturday 26th September an All night sew-a-thon at Blueberries was held, the event started at 6pm with a delicious meal catered by Crown Catering. Everybody was looking glamorous for the event which was themed as Spring Carnival. After dinner at about 8pm the sewing began with everyone sewing hard until the early hours of Sunday morning. There were 30 people who attended with 11 finishing right to the end at 6am Sunday morning.
“What a night, had a ball!” Susan says, “Everyone enjoyed it. By 3am we were all questioning our sanity but we finished…we had some completed sewing to show for it not just sore muscles. Can’t wait to do it again.”
We would like to thank Susan Carr, Ally Nicoll and Louise for organising the whole event which was a huge success and a lot of fun for all. We would also like to thank Rose, Matthew and Steve who were our elegant waiters for the evening.
Enjoy the photos!
