Central Coast Charity Quilt Show

The annual Central Coast Charity Quilt Show was on the weekend at the Wyong Racecourse.  It was a great weekend, with heaps of lovely quilts to view.  A total of 106 were entered which was a great effort.  Thank you to all the Blueberries customers who entered quilts.  Following are just some of the quilts on display.  If you were able to visit the show, be sure to leave a comment about your experience at the show or maybe you might like to mention which quilt you liked the most?

Thank you for an excellent quilt exhibition. I believe having a non judged exhibition was a very positive aspect of the show, allowing people to display their quilts. The variety and use of colour in the quilts was of a very high standard and I enjoyed reading the people’s comments about the quilts. If I had a criticism it would be that the quilts should not be taken down until 4 o’clock as that was when the show finished. The layout of the show was excellent and we look forward with anticipation to next years show.

I thoroughly enjoyed th quilt show – a big thank you to all the contributors for sharing their work and the organisers for their hard work in putting the show on. It was a little disappointing that the quilts were taken down so early – I was under the impression that the exhibit was open until 4:00p.m. Still, absolutely loved the work on display, well done!
